Operators from the 1st Separate Center of the Ukrainian Unmanned Systems, together with fighters from the 413th “Raid” Regiment and in coordination with other units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, carried out a strike on the maritime terminal at the Ust-Luga port in Russia’s Leningrad region. The target was the NOVATEK-Ust-Luga facility, which processes stable gas condensate and handles the shipment of petroleum products to international markets.

Despite the enemy’s air defense efforts, the strike was effective – authorities reported a large-scale fire at the facility. Preliminary information indicates that the tank farm and the stender equipment, used for loading and unloading oil and petroleum products, were hit. Damage to such infrastructure directly affects Russia’s export capacity and reduces foreign currency inflows, which are used to finance the war against Ukraine.

The plant plays a significant role in Russia’s energy infrastructure, supporting the export and transport of petroleum products. A substantial portion of shipments passes through the Ust-Luga port, including via the so-called “shadow fleet,” which allows circumvention of international sanctions. The full extent of the damage is still being assessed.

Additionally, during another operation, communication nodes of enemy units in temporarily occupied territories were struck. This included facilities in Donetsk, the settlements of Velyka Novosilka and Hirnyk in Donetsk region, as well as in the Fedorivka area of Zaporizhzhia region. Hitting such targets significantly disrupts the enemy’s ability to command their forces and coordinate combat operations, complicating interaction between units.

The official Facebook page of the Ukrainian General Staff reports that on the night of March 25, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a Russian patrol icebreaker at the Vyborg Shipyard in Leningrad region. According to preliminary information, the vessel is the “Purga” icebreaker of Project 23550, intended for operations under the FSB Border Service of the Russian Federation. Such ships serve both as icebreakers and as military vessels.
