The 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces continues to expand its capability to engage targets in the enemy’s operational rear using strike unmanned systems. Primary targets include military facilities, logistics infrastructure, and elements of the adversary’s command-and-control network located beyond the immediate front line. Recently, the 147th Separate Artillery Brigade of the 7th Corps became the first of Ukraine’s newly established artillery brigades to employ medium-range loitering munitions against enemy targets. These medium-range strike systems were reportedly used to engage multiple objectives.

In Staromykhailivka, on the western outskirts of Donetsk, a munitions storage facility was struck. According to reports, the site was being used by Russia’s 110th Motorized Rifle Brigade and was located within a farm complex, where ammunition was stored inside one of the hangars.

In the town of Selydove, medium-range strike drones were reportedly used against a command post belonging to a battalion of Russia’s 51st Combined Arms Army. The facility was located within a residential area consisting primarily of private housing.

In Kurakhove, the target was a personnel staging area used by Russian forces. The facility was located in a building near the Kurakhove Thermal Power Plant, where units of Russia’s 41st Combined Arms Army were reportedly stationed at the time.

The successful engagement of these targets was the result of detailed analysis of information gathered from multiple intelligence sources. According to reports, Ukrainian forces relied on data obtained through aerial and cyber intelligence, as well as information recovered from captured documents.

Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence Directorate (HUR) also released exclusive footage of combat operations conducted by the “Prymary” special unit, recorded in April and May of this year. According to the agency, the reconnaissance team successfully targeted logistical routes used by Russian forces, disrupting the movement of personnel and supplies.

“Everything belonging to the enemy is burning – fuel, ammunition, equipment, and other resources that will no longer reach frontline units,” HUR stated. “The results of the Prymary unit’s operations include disrupted supply routes, slower movement of reserves, and reduced operational capabilities of the occupying force.”

As previously reported, Ukrainian drones have recently been equipped with a unique autonomous interception system. The new technology was developed by a participant in the Brave1 initiative and represents a further step in the systematic expansion of the country’s air defense capabilities. According to available information, the solution automates approximately 95% of the engagement cycle, from interceptor launch through target tracking and the final interception of an aerial threat. The system is designed to reduce operator workload while improving the speed and effectiveness of counter-drone operations.
