On the night of June 23, Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces carried out a series of strikes against enemy targets in temporarily occupied Crimea and other occupied territories. According to the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, medium-range drones struck more than 60 enemy targets.

Middle Strike

Among the targets affected during the so-called “middle strike” were three Orion long-range reconnaissance and strike unmanned aerial vehicles, used as carriers of guided aerial bombs and small cruise missiles. The systems were reportedly destroyed in the Kerch area of Crimea. The operation was carried out by the 1st Separate Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces. In Kerch, fuel storage tanks located on the premises of the Kerch (Kamysh-Burun) thermal power plant were also struck. Responsibility for this strike was likewise attributed to the 1st Separate Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the Bagherove area of Crimea, a Pantsir-S1 surface-to-air missile and gun system was reportedly hit, while near Kurortne a launch unit of an S-300 air defense system and a ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft gun were also struck. In addition, a Nebo-U radar station in Kerch came under attack. All of these targets were engaged by the 1st Separate Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces.

In the settlement of Kariernе in Crimea, the 330/110 kV “Zakhidno-Krymska” electrical substation was reportedly struck. Personnel from the 427th Separate Brigade of the Unmanned Systems Forces “Rarog” and the 413th Separate Unit of the Unmanned Systems Forces “Raid” were involved in the operation. A gas distribution station in Simferopol, located in the settlement of Trudove, was also hit. The strike was carried out by the 1st Separate Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces.

Ukrainian drones also targeted a training range used by operators of the 4th Separate Motor Rifle Brigade near Debaltseve in Donetsk region. In Horlivka, Donetsk region, a fuel and lubricants tanker was struck. Both operations were attributed to the 20th Separate Brigade of the Unmanned Systems Forces “K-2”.

Middle Strike

Ukrainian units carried out strikes against enemy logistics transport in the Pryazovske area of Zaporizhzhia region. The operation was conducted by the 412th Separate Brigade of the Unmanned Systems Forces “Nemesis”. Additional reports indicate that enemy logistics vehicles were also hit across temporarily occupied Crimea, as well as in Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions. These operations involved the “13” unit of the 414th Separate Brigade of the Unmanned Systems Forces “Birds of Madyar”, the 20th Separate Brigade “K-2”, the 412th Separate Brigade “Nemesis”, and the 1st Separate Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces.

“Systematic targeting of air defense assets, strike UAVs, energy infrastructure, and logistics reduces the enemy’s ability to sustain combat operations and support its groupings in temporarily occupied territories,” the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated in an official Facebook post. It was also reported today on the official page of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine that a railway bridge over the North Crimean Canal in Crimea was destroyed.
