Ukraine’s unmanned systems forces reported successful strikes on Russian targets. On the night of February 24, Ukrainian drones engaged and destroyed a Russian Uragan multiple rocket launcher, a Buk surface-to-air missile system, a Pantsir-S1 air defense system, and a Malakhit radar station. The report was posted on Facebook by the Commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems, Robert “Madyar” Brovdi.

According to Brovdi, the Uragan multiple rocket launcher was detected on a firing position in Zaporizhzhia Oblast by pilots from the 7th Battalion “Kairos” of the 414th Separate Brigade “Madyar’s Birds,” while the Buk-M1 surface-to-air missile system was located near the settlement of Svobodne in Donetsk Oblast by pilots from the 412th Separate Brigade of the Unmanned Systems Forces, Nemesis. Both targets were reportedly destroyed.
Two additional targets were struck in temporarily occupied Crimea. Near the settlement of Krasnosilske, pilots from the 1st Separate Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces located and destroyed a Pantsir-S1 air defense system. The same unit also detected and attacked a Malakhit radar station near the settlement of Novofedorivka.
Robert “Madyar” Brovdi emphasized that detecting and destroying components of Russia’s long-, medium-, and short-range air defense systems is a key priority for the Birds of the Unmanned Systems Forces. Reducing the density of the enemy’s air defenses complicates their logistics and creates opportunities for further strikes by Ukraine’s Defense Forces against Russian military infrastructure in both operational and strategic depth.
Additionally, unmanned systems recently destroyed two Tor surface-to-air missile systems. One was located near the settlement of Kyslyche in Donetsk Oblast, and the second near the village of Topoline, also in Donetsk Oblast. Operators from the 1st Separate Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces also targeted a fuel depot in temporarily occupied Luhansk, which Russian forces were using to supply their units.
