The Defense Forces of Ukraine carried out a series of strikes targeting military-industrial and logistical facilities of the Russian Federation, both within its internationally recognized territory and in temporarily occupied Ukrainian regions. According to available information, units of the Missile Forces and Artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine employed FP-5 “Flamingo” cruise missiles to strike a defense industry enterprise identified as the Votkinsk Plant, located in the city of Votkinsk (Udmurt Republic, Russian Federation).

Воткінський завод

The facility is considered a significant component of Russia’s defense-industrial sector. It manufactures RS-24 “Yars” intercontinental ballistic missiles in various modifications, R-30 “Bulava” submarine-launched ballistic missiles for Project 955A “Borei-A” submarines, as well as 9M723-1 missiles for the Iskander-M operational-tactical missile system and 9-S-7760 missiles for the Kinzhal air-launched complex. Following the reported strike involving “Flamingo” cruise missiles, a fire broke out on the plant’s premises. The extent of the damage has not yet been officially confirmed.

In addition, Defense Forces units reportedly struck the Neftegorsk Gas Processing Plant in the Samara region of the Russian Federation. The facility is described as supporting the logistical needs of Russian military forces. A fire was recorded at the site, and the consequences of the strike are still being clarified.

On temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, several facilities associated with Russian military support were also targeted. In Donetsk, a fuel and lubricants depot was reportedly hit, while near the settlement of Nova Karakuba a workshop used for the production and maintenance of unmanned aerial vehicles was struck. In Polohy (Zaporizhzhia region), damage to a warehouse containing material and technical supplies was reported.

Additionally, near the settlement of Astrakhanka in the Zaporizhzhia region, Defense Forces units reported the destruction of a Tornado-S multiple launch rocket system. This 300 mm long-range system is capable of engaging targets at distances of up to approximately 120 kilometers.

In addition, Ukrainian forces reportedly conducted a series of strikes on targets in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea. In the area of Inkerman, two Project 22460 “Okhotnik” border patrol vessels were reported as hit. In Yevpatoria, at the site of an aircraft repair facility, two Be-12 aircraft were reportedly struck. Information regarding personnel losses and the final extent of the damage remains subject to clarification.

The Unmanned Systems Forces also reported a strike on an oil depot in the settlement of Hvardiiske, Simferopol district. The facility is described as supplying fuel to Russian forces on the peninsula. According to preliminary information, the strike is expected to disrupt the provision of fuel and lubricants to those units.

Such operations are intended to systematically reduce the production and logistical capabilities of the opposing side by limiting access to resources required for sustained military activity.
