The Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has released new data on the network of enterprises involved in the production of Su-57 multirole fighter aircraft. As part of the “Components in Weapons” section on the War&Sanctions portal, an interactive 3D model has been presented, along with detailed information on 103 companies participating in the relevant industrial cooperation.

Among the identified participants is the Saint Petersburg-based PJSC “Krasny Oktyabr,” which is responsible for the production of auxiliary power units, including gas turbine engine-based power systems for the Su-57. The National Institute of Aviation Technologies has also been identified as being involved in the development of the aircraft’s multifunctional silicate cockpit glazing.

In addition, the list includes the Institute of Theoretical and Applied Electrodynamics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, which is involved in the development and application of radar-absorbing coatings on aircraft components. Another entity identified is LLC “Yashz Avia,” which specializes in the production of aviation tires for these fighter aircraft.

At the same time, approximately one-third of the identified enterprises are not currently subject to sanctions by any country within the sanctions coalition. This allows them to retain access to foreign technologies and components required for the continued development of Russian military aviation.

Restricting the Russian military-industrial complex’s access to advanced technological solutions is viewed not only as a measure to strengthen Ukraine’s defense capabilities, but also as a factor contributing to broader global stability and security. In this context, it involves limiting the aggressor’s ability to participate in a new wave of technological arms competition.

It is also worth noting that, recently, the Main Directorate of Intelligence published an interactive 3D model and a detailed breakdown of a Russian reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle referred to as “Knyaz Veshchiy Oleg.” The development and production of this UAV are attributed to the Russian “Research and Production Center ‘Ushkuynik,’” which is also reportedly involved in the creation of fiber-optic FPV drones known as “Knyaz Vandal Novgorodsky” and interceptor drones called “Osoed.” The production of this UAV involves the use of foreign components, which are supplied to Russia through intermediary networks and procurement schemes. Such technologies may be applied in ways that contribute to destabilization not only in Ukraine, but also in other regions.
