Ukraine has carried out another successful strike on a key component of the Russian military-industrial complex. On June 22, units of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reportedly struck a plant in the Russian city of Voronezh that specializes in producing components for missile systems. According to an official statement published on the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s Facebook page, the operation involved the use of high-precision air-launched cruise missiles.

The plant in Voronezh is considered one of the critical elements of the Russian military machine. Its facilities produce electronics used in Russian missile systems, including components for operational-tactical missile complexes such as “Iskander.”

In addition, within its production cooperation chain, the plant manufactures and supplies electronic component bases for Russian missile systems and air defense equipment. This includes transistor assemblies and matrices used in the blocks of Kh-101 cruise missiles, semiconductor matrices for onboard digital computing systems (BЦОМ “Zarya-61M”) used in 9M727 cruise missiles of the Iskander-K system, as well as diodes and transistor assemblies for television guidance channels in the Pantsir-S1 air defense combat vehicles.

The products manufactured at the facility are directly used by Russian forces in the production of precision-guided weaponry, which is employed to carry out strikes against Ukraine and cause civilian casualties. Therefore, the destruction of the plant’s production capacity in Voronezh will significantly complicate Russia’s ability to manufacture new missiles.

In addition, Ukraine carried out several more successful strikes on June 21 and during the night of June 22. In particular, the “Dubna” space communications center in the Moscow region was hit. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is currently clarifying information regarding the damage inflicted on the enemy, but significant smoke was observed at the facility. Ukrainian forces also struck a training ground used for UAV operator training in the Debaltseve area and hit UAV command posts in the areas of Myrnohrad and Perebudova in the Donetsk region.

Separately, reports indicate strikes on enemy command and observation posts in the area of Ilyok-Penkovka in Russia’s Belgorod region, as well as near Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region.

Additionally, a strike was carried out on a road bridge in the Vasylivka area of the Zaporizhzhia region. It is noted that Russian occupying forces used this bridge for the movement of personnel and logistical support for their occupation army.
