Ukrainian company Fire Point unveiled two new ballistic weapon systems at the MSPO international defense exhibition in Poland. Known for developing the heavy Flamingo cruise missile, the company showcased the FP-7 and FP-9 ballistic missiles and shared plans for future air defense systems.
The FP-7 is a medium-range ballistic missile with a maximum range of 200 km. It can reach speeds of up to 1,500 m/s and has an estimated accuracy of 14 meters. Its 150 kg warhead is designed to effectively engage targets, with a flight time of up to 250 seconds. The missile is intended for launch from ground-based platforms to strike operational targets at medium distances.

The FP-9 is a longer-range system capable of striking targets up to 855 km away, reaching speeds of 2,200 m/s. It carries a powerful 800 kg warhead and can ascend to altitudes of up to 70 km. With an accuracy of around 20 meters, the FP-9 is suitable for striking deep rear-area targets, providing Ukraine with a strategic advantage.
A correspondent from “Militarne” at the exhibition in Poland reported that the company also announced a new strike drone designed to engage frontline targets. The drone carries a 105 kg warhead and is currently undergoing battlefield testing. Its design is similar to the FP-1 drone, which is used for strikes against deep rear-area targets, but the new model’s range has been reduced from 1,400 km to 200 km, while the warhead has been made heavier. The FP-2 comes in two versions: an autonomous version for striking stationary targets and an operator-controlled version for engaging moving targets.

In addition to developing new missiles and drones, Fire Point is preparing to open a solid rocket fuel production facility in Denmark, according to Danish broadcaster DR. The plant is scheduled to launch on December 1, 2025, marking the first known instance of a Ukrainian defense company establishing production in Denmark.
To support this initiative, Fire Point created a subsidiary, FPRT, and launched an official website. The facility will focus on producing solid rocket fuel, which is stable, long-lasting in storage, does not require fueling before launch, and ensures reliable combustion. This type of fuel is used in the Flamingo missile.

The production facility will operate in accordance with Denmark’s new defense legislation. FPRT stated that its products will support programs considered “vital to Denmark’s defense.” Testing of individual components will take place at separate sites, independent of the main plant.
