As part of a coordinated operation conducted by the Security Service of Ukraine together with other components of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the Sheskharis terminal, operators from the 1st Separate UAV Systems Center struck a significant target. Ukrainian drones attacked the ‘Admiral Makarov’, a vessel of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. The frigate is designed for anti-submarine warfare, engaging surface targets, and striking land-based objectives.
According to the official Facebook page of the UAV Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Project 11356R “Burevestnik” frigates have repeatedly been used to launch Kalibr cruise missiles against Ukrainian cities. During the operation, the ship attempted to engage air defense measures while approaching the target, but this did not prevent it from being successfully struck.

In parallel, operators from the 413th Separate Regiment “Raid” struck the self-elevating floating drilling platform “Sivash”. The operation was conducted in coordination with the Ukrainian Navy’s deep-strike forces. According to the Ukrainian Navy’s Facebook page, Russia had used the Sivash platform in the Black Sea as a base for surveillance equipment, communication relay systems, electronic warfare assets, and short-range air defense. This setup allowed monitoring of Ukrainian Armed Forces movements toward Crimea, effectively creating a “buffer zone” to protect the peninsula and Black Sea Fleet vessels.
The platform also hosted elite Russian special forces units and was equipped with weaponry, including anti-tank missile systems and countermeasures against Ukrainian drones and small boats. The precise and effective strike on the Sivash drilling platform removed a critical element of Russian control over the Black Sea.
Additionally, operators from the 1st Separate UAV Systems Center, in coordination with the 414th Separate Brigade “Madyar’s Birds” and the 413th Separate Regiment “Raid,” conducted a series of strikes on the Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez refinery, located in Kstovo, Nizhny Novgorod Oblast. This facility is one of Russia’s largest refineries, with a processing capacity of up to 17 million tons per year, supplying nearly 30% of the country’s gasoline consumption. Open-source reports indicate that more than 20 explosions occurred in the area, air defense systems were active, and a large-scale fire broke out.
Another target for operators from the 1st Separate UAV Systems Center was the Primorsk port, one of Russia’s largest ports involved in oil product transportation. Both the refinery and the port are part of a single logistical chain: the refinery processes crude oil, while the terminal handles its export shipment. In response to the attacks, Russian forces were forced to implement the “Cover” plan at several airports. Overall operational restrictions lasted over 28 hours, with estimated economic losses exceeding $6 million.
