UKRSPECSYSTEMS successfully showcased its leading unmanned systems – PD-2E, Shark-M, and Mini Shark – at the International Drone Show 2025 (IDS) held in Denmark. The event highlighted that Ukrainian drones are already meeting the high standards and operational expectations of European partners, demonstrating their readiness to perform in the demanding conditions of today’s market.

Despite challenging weather conditions, the PD-2E stood out as the largest drone to take flight during the event. The UKRSPECSYSTEMS team conducted a large-scale demonstration, showcasing the full range of the platform’s capabilities, including a continuous four-hour live broadcast flight. Its strong resistance to environmental factors, extended flight endurance, and broad technical functionality received positive feedback from unmanned aviation experts as well as officials from several European defense ministries.

This demonstration gained added significance in light of recent news about the UK’s CORVUS project, which aims to upgrade and replace outdated reconnaissance and surveillance drone systems. According to international experts, the PD-2 is considered one of the leading contenders to replace current platforms. This comes as no surprise – unlike many legacy systems designed around requirements from a decade or more ago, the PD-2 was developed based on real combat experience gained during the war in Ukraine.

UKRSPECSYSTEMS emphasizes that they are not simply adapting outdated solutions – they are building new-generation systems designed to meet the real-world challenges facing today’s defense sector. This approach aligns with what European partners are actively looking for: reliable, combat-proven systems that can be integrated quickly and deployed immediately.

Participation in the International Drone Show 2025 marked an important step in the company’s broader strategy to deepen cooperation with European allies and position Ukrainian UAVs as technologically advanced solutions, ready for integration into NATO standards in the near future.

During the event, company representatives not only presented the technical specifications of their drones but also engaged in active discussions with partners from various countries, focusing on opportunities for collaboration. They emphasized the high quality, reliability, and adaptability of their systems across a wide range of operational environments. This approach positions Ukrainian UAVs as competitive offerings on the global market and supports their integration into some of the most demanding defense programs.

Ukrainian drones are already approaching the level where their contribution to the collective security of the Alliance could become invaluable. At the same time, partnerships with European countries are growing stronger and more results-driven. This exhibition is a clear demonstration that Ukraine’s homegrown technologies are ready to operate on the international stage – and to help reshape the landscape of unmanned aviation.
